As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Saanich will hold only 'conference call' meetings until further notice. Members of the public will be able to submit written comments to council@saanich.ca and to register to participate by telephone. Contact Saanich at 250-475-5501 or council@saanich.ca for more information or to register.
As of April 19th, you can also register to speak via MS Teams.
As soon as MVCCA receives notification that a local project will be on the council agenda, the information will be posted here. You should register to speak at the meeting as soon as possible. You have until noon on the day of the meeting to submit written comments to council@saanich.ca. Individual councillors may also be contacted at their personal email addresses available at the Saanich website.

Little Free Libraries and Placemaking Pocket Places Project.
This project involves helping set up, stock, and promote little free libraries (LFLs) – those little book boxes that operate on the principle of ‘Take a Book, Leave a Book.’ The CRD now hosts over 275 LFLs, our team has helped set up over 50 LFLs, and dropped off nearly 13,000 books to LFLs across the regions.

Mural for Seaton Street Tunnel
On June 26, 2017 Saanich Council authorized the installation of a mural on the retaining wall at the north entry to the Seaton Street tunnel. Constable Lisa Bruschetta of Saanich’s Community Bike Squad arranged funding and Jessie Campbell supervised the youth artists from the Native Friendship Centre.
